Molly and Ryan’s wedding day at Bakers Ranch in Parrish, Florida was a breathtaking celebration of romance, timeless elegance, and adventure. Nestled amid the stunning ancient oaks, European-inspired architecture, and scenic outdoor spaces of this premier Florida venue, every detail of their day radiated warmth and sophistication. Surrounded by lush pink and white roses, sparkling greenery, and an abundance of soft candlelight, their celebration felt straight out of a fairytale. But before they danced beneath French crystal chandeliers, their incredible journey together began years prior with a tubing trip on the river.

How They Met: A River Tubing Adventure

Their love story began in June 2016 through mutual friends. Molly was heading into her senior year at Florida State University, while Ryan, a senior at Louisiana State University, was spending his summer in Tallahassee for an internship. Mutual friends organized a tubing trip on the Chipola River to bring everyone together. When they first met, Ryan told Molly that life with him would be an adventure, and he certainly wasn't wrong. Over the next few years, they conquered two and a half years of long distance and lived in two different states after finally moving in together, exploring brand-new places and building a lifetime of memories along the way.

A Magical Snow-Covered Proposal in Utah

Years later, Ryan planned a breathtaking surprise proposal that took months to coordinate with both of their families. During a trip to Park City, Utah, he took Molly horseback riding through the snowy mountains, which is one of their absolute favorite things to do together. As they reached the end of the trail, a woman on a horse approached them, asking if she could take a few pictures of the scenery and of them for her website. Completely oblivious to what was actually happening, Molly smiled as the photographer asked them to dismount for a few portraits. That was when Ryan dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. The celebration continued when they arrived at a nearby restaurant for lunch, where both of their families, having flown all the way out from the East Coast, were waiting inside to surprise them and celebrate together.

A Romantic Wedding Vision at Bakers Ranch

Molly and Ryan envisioned a true celebration with their closest friends and family, brought to life through a romantic design aesthetic. Bakers Ranch provided the ultimate backdrop for their dream day, featuring classic architectural details, vaulted ceilings, and gorgeous natural surroundings.

Their color palette focused heavily on lush roses in shades of soft pink and white, paired with rich greenery and warm candlelight. One of the most enchanting and unique features of their day was a live harpist playing delicate melodies during the ceremony and cocktail hour, setting an undeniably magical tone. Hanging crystal chandeliers and sparkling candle holders added an extra touch of romance to both the outdoor ceremony space and the reception tables inside.

Newlywed Portraits Along the Hidden Forest Path

Amidst the excitement of the celebration, our absolute favorite part of the day to capture was their newlywed portraits along the hidden forest path in the forest. Surrounded by towering trees, dappled sunlight, and untouched natural beauty, Molly and Ryan shared quiet, joyful moments together as newlywed life truly began to sink in.

A Sweet Conclusion and Celebration in Parrish

Following dinner and dancing, the reception featured a stunning custom cake crafted by Kristin Marie Cakes, perfectly tying into their romantic and elegant design. From the gorgeous floral arrangements to the joyful laughter shared with family and friends, Molly and Ryan's wedding at Bakers Ranch was a flawless reflection of their adventurous spirit and enduring love. It was an absolute honor to capture a day defined by elegance, deep connection, and the start of their next great adventure as husband and wife.
