Jasmine & Victor

Jasmine and Victor tied the knot during their beautiful wedding at Crystal Ballroom in Veranda Park. Located in the heart of Metro West in Orlando, it was the perfect location for their family flying in from out of the country to meet and celebrate such a momentous occasion. The two had booked me through their wedding coordinator Oluchi Chucku who found me on The Knot. The two actually live in Minneapolis so it was incredibly helpful to have their cousin down here in Orlando planning out their special day.

The two actually had a destination wedding here in Orlando, as both live in Irvine, California. However while now Cali residents they actually met in Minneapolis while in college. Six years after dating, Victor proposed to Jasmine right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis at Loring Park by surprising her with a photoshoot! What a clever way to capture a beautiful moment.

My day started off with photographing details and both the ceremony and reception location. For my couple, the getting ready shots, ceremony, and formal portraits were the most important part of their big day and truly what they wanted captured the most.

Jasmine was just a beautiful aura that radiated as she walked down the aisle. Her hubby to be Victor held back tears as she came down the aisle. From beautiful songs to words of wisdom, family and friends played a critical part throughout their ceremony.

Formal portraits took place in the ceremony location as well. It was the best way to easily allow guests to enjoy cocktail hour, while keeping the large family seated and ready to be photographed. Two of my favorite shots are of Jasmine’s cousins and Victor’s cousins. I couldn’t believe how big their family was and love the fact that they wanted to include absolutely everyone.

Our night ended with the two coming outside for some time alone to take newlywed shots. Jasmine just loved the architecture of the building ranging from the dramatic lighting to stone walls. It truly was the perfect spot for them to take a moment together before jumping back in the action of it all. Wishing these two the absolute best and a safe trip home!
