Caitlyn and Kris’s black-tie wedding at The Estate on the Halifax was the perfect blend of elegance and charm. The stunning grounds of the Estate offered a storybook setting—from a romantic garden and a peaceful covered pier to the unique vintage train car where the groom and groomsmen got ready. Their ceremony took place in the timeless white chapel on the property, where Caitlyn’s bold red bouquet stole the show as she walked down the aisle. After a joyful bubble exit, the celebration continued at one of the Estate’s beautiful historic homes, where friends and family danced the night away. Every detail of their day was full of character, beauty, and heartfelt moments.
The Proposal
He proposed to me in Vermont under a beautiful, covered bridge. February 2023. Kris planned a family vacation. I asked if we could take family pictures. Kris already had the exact bridge planned out. We said that we would take different shots and Kris said that him and I would take the first photo. When I turned around for the photo he was on one knee with the most beautiful ring!
Wedding Day Vision
Our number one objective is to enjoy every minute of our wedding day. I think meeting later in life we learned that there are things that matter and things that don’t. The small things will roll off of our backs because we are grateful to have this day together.
