Elyse and Macalister tied the knot during their St John Vianney Catholic Church wedding ceremony and partied the night away during their Post Card Inn wedding reception!
How They Met
We met once or twice at some parties while attending college at ASU, but really started to get to know one another after running into each other at a show in Old Town Scottsdale (we can’t remember the date).
The Proposal
We got engaged Sunday, 2/10/19 at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. We woke up bright and early that morning to an overcast sky, ready to go into the park the minute it opened. Mac was excited, but very anxious. Oblivious, I was ready to go into the park and show him why Disneyland is the best of all the parks.
After starting the day off riding almost every main ride in Magic Kingdom, we decided we wanted to get a picture together (so not normal for us). To Mac’s surprise Sleeping Beauty’s Castle was closed for remodeling (I knew since I follow a few Disney instagrams), so I suggested Minnie Mouse’s house in Toontown. Standing in front of the house, I turned to hold Mac for a picture and he dropped down to his knee and said “yeah, I’m doing this to you right now” and asked me to marry him.
