Capturing a wedding at The Tampa Club in Tampa, Florida, was truly magical, blending whimsical charm with glamorous elegance. The day was beautifully adorned with bold red accents, creating a striking and memorable celebration. Each moment was a testament to the couple’s unique style and the sophisticated ambiance of the venue. We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happy ever after!
The Proposal
We were engaged on June 28th, on a boat in the Grand Canal at the Palace of Versailles outside Paris. The events leading up to our proposal were dicey – Laura’s grandma texted her a couple of days before telling her to “accept any gifts Matt may give you” – this caused Matt to panic and spill the beans on the proposal, not that it was much of a surprise. You don’t usually take a girl to Paris just to hang out.
The proposal photographer also got the wrong date and we had to reschedule our proposal photos into engagement photos. So all around not a perfect engagement by any means. Fortunately Laura got swept up in her princess fantasy through Versailles, and when I got her on that boat, she still never saw it coming.
Wedding Day Vision
We wanted a wedding that evokes images of an enchanted forest. We wanted to give guests the feeling of stepping into a magical place where love can flourish and happiness is shared among friends and family.
