Their modern love story began on Tinder. After messaging for a few weeks, they finally found a night to meet up, though Rachel happened to have tickets to see her favorite middle school band that evening. Figuring it would be the ultimate test, they met at The Blue Note, a beloved staple of the Tampa music scene. They talked and laughed until the band came on, where Rachel sang her heart out while Michael kindly enjoyed the show with a bobbing head and a beer in hand. Afterward, they headed to First Chance Last Chance bar in Ybor City, talking at a cozy table until they were too sleepy to go on. They reunited for dinner just four days later, and they have been together ever since.

Their indoor ceremony featured stunning florals arranged in a soft semi-circle at the altar, creating a magnificent backdrop as they exchanged vows. To soften the venue's striking art deco marble architecture, their classic and romantic vision came to life with an abundance of candles and delicate floral accents.

One of the most unique and special touches of the day was a live wedding painter capturing the entire ceremony on canvas, resulting in an unforgettable custom artwork revealed to Rachel and Michael at the end of their reception.
