Kaidi and Taylor’s wedding day at the Art & History Museums of Maitland in Maitland, Florida, was an absolute breath of fresh air. Saint Leo University Beginnings

Their story began years prior at Saint Leo University, where a mutual close friend introduced them. What started as a casual introduction blossomed into a deep, unwavering partnership. Above all else, Kaidi and Taylor consider themselves best friends first, which is why they appreciate each other so much. Whether they are experiencing brand-new things together, sharing life's moments, or simply making each other smile and forget how tough life can get, their bond is rooted in pure joy, wonder, and mutual support.

A Nervously Perfect Proposal at the Magic Kingdom

Years after building their friendship and relationship, Taylor decided to take the next big step. On September 26, 2020, amidst the magic of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, he prepared for what he admits was the most nerve-racking day of his life.

Having thought long and hard about the decision, Taylor even went so far as to research which knee to kneel on and how to properly open the ring box. To keep it a surprise, he hid the ring right on top of the kitchen cabinets—knowing it was the one place Kaidi would never look because she couldn't reach it. When the moment finally arrived, his nerves took over to the point where he could barely speak, but dropping to one knee turned out to be the best decision he ever made, setting the stage for a lifetime together.

A Laid-Back Brunch Wedding Vision

Kaidi and Taylor envisioned a wedding day that reflected their easygoing personalities: a laid-back, intimate brunch celebration surrounded by close family and friends. They wanted the aesthetic to lean heavily into a cheerful spring color palette, allowing the historic beauty, lush greenery, and unique architectural details of the Maitland Art Center to shine.

From the sunlit morning celebration to the shared laughter and relaxed elegance of a brunch reception, every single detail celebrated the genuine connection of two people who are truly each other's best friend. It was an absolute honor to capture a day filled with so much warmth, smiles, and the pure joy of life.
