Magical Garden Light at Hummingbird Gardens

Ariane and Aaron’s wedding at Hummingbird Gardens in Tampa, Florida, felt like stepping straight into a real-life fairytale. Tucked away amidst lush tropical foliage, winding pathways, and vibrant floral blooms, this beloved outdoor venue provided an enchanting backdrop for their special day. Guided by a vision of whimsical romance, the couple crafted a celebration that was soft, dreamy, and filled with unforgettable moments from start to finish.

A Rainy Island Proposal on Castaway Cay

My sweet couple's proposal story is proof that magic happens even when plans don't go strictly according to script. While on a Disney Cruise together, Ariane knew a proposal was likely on the horizon after helping pick out her dream ring. On their final full day at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, the two rented bicycles to explore despite a steady, pouring rain. Seeking shelter, they climbed to the top of a wooden watchtower overlooking the island. In a lucky twist, they had the entire tower completely to themselves, giving Aaron the perfect private moment to drop to one knee. They spent the rest of the day joyfully biking around the island in the rain as newly engaged fiancés!

Emotional First Looks & Fairytale Vows

The wedding day began with relaxed bridal prep at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore before transitioning to Hummingbird Gardens. Prior to walking down the aisle, Ariane shared a sweet, tearful first look with her dad, followed by an intimate first look with Aaron in the quiet greenery of the gardens. Our talented photographer Jenna was on hand capturing every beautiful angle, while our in-house videographer Lana filmed every tender moment as it unfolded.

Under a canopy of towering trees and soft garden light, Ariane and Aaron exchanged vows surrounded by their favorite people. To seal their union, the newlyweds made a magical exit down the aisle through a shower of floating bubbles, adding a touch of playful charm to the end of their ceremony.

Following golden hour portraits around the lush grounds, the celebration moved into an open-air reception illuminated by twinkling market lights. Guests enjoyed a night filled with delicious food, heartfelt toasts, and non-stop dancing under the Florida sky. To bring the fairytale night to an unforgettable close, family and friends lined up under the night sky for a second whimsical bubble send off to wish the new Mr. and Mrs. endless happiness.
